General information
- These courses are available to students and staff of the OvGU.
- The topics are organised as follows: principles of rhetoric; public speaking; voice training, elocution, and phonetics.
Principals of rhetoric: Seeing the wood through the trees
- The aim of this course is to present the scope of public speaking, and to understand the dilemmas of oral communication.
- Understanding the fundamental processes communication, and how to assess them, is the object of this course.
Public speaking: What? How? Why?
Optimise your impact when you give a presentation or a speech! You’ll receive advice about structuring your talk, concepts for cue cards, and effective design.
Voice training: Vocal hygiene in practice
- How do I sound my best? We’ll get to the core of this common question here.
- Practical exercises for everyday voice training will help you to develop a rich and confident voice.
